Daffodil (PERCEPTION)

These magnificent heralds of Spring are literally trumpeting the joy and freedom of learning to be yourself. Daffodil wants you to “see the light,” to perceive the beauty and perfection and wholeness that is you, just as you are. It is time to release any self-doubt and revel in the freedom and weightlessness of endless possibilities.

“Be who you is, because if you be who you ain’t, then you ain’t who you is!” says Daffodil, loudly. Her message is a reminder of all of our individual journeys to try to figure out who we are and how we want to be. In other words, how we perceive ourselves and the world we live in.

Daffodil wants us to examine all the costumes we wear, all the roles we take on, and all the ways we try to conform and fit in and mold ourselves so that others will perceive us in a certain (favorable) way. She is asking you to cut the cords of self-doubt, and to recognize and embrace the beauty, perfection, wholeness and sacredness in yourself, in others and in the world around you. Just as you are and just as they are.

Can you begin to see the divinity in all beings including yourself?

Consider: What can you see when you put on your “perspectacles”?
